9/11 Pentagon Counseling Years
In 2000, I began my work as an Employee Assistance Counselor in the Pentagon. During that time, the Pentagon was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001. I was called to action to perform crisis counseling to the victims who were at the Pentagon during this attack. I provided individual and group crisis counseling to both civilians and the military. Consequently I was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of the Army.
