Why Group Therapy?
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy during which I treat a small group of women with similar symptoms together as a group. This group is a safe and confidential place for you to process your personal experiences and feelings with others who are also experiencing similar feelings. Through the support of others in the group, you will find it a wonderful opportunity to heal and recover fully from an eating disorder. In addition, I will provide education about eating disorders and we will explore different relevant topics together within each session.
How Is Group Therapy Effective?
Group therapy can help us discover the common ground of shared experiences with other people in the group. We can learn as much from each other as we do from the therapist. Sometimes, it's easier to care about other people before we can care about ourselves. In group, the commitment to other members helps us follow through on treatment goals.
Cost: $50.00 per Group session
